Sharp Solutions, Inc has an urgent need for a talented and experience Key Sr. Business Analyst to join our growing team. This position will be located in the DC Metro area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated IT Professional seeking personal challenges and professional rewards.  The right individual will enjoy managing project teams, as well as testing and delivering solutions for custom applications as well as to gather requirements to help the Department of Labor and the Enterprise Business Support Systems to meet its customers' requirements. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Lead the technical planning and requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver. Evaluate user requests for business process automation to determine feasibility and technical requirements. Participate in team design meetings, daily scrum meetings, and other development meetings
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES:
  • Demonstrated experience in the Case Management Applications and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading requirements elicitation discussions with stakeholders, documenting requirements, e.g., process flow diagrams, wireframes, use cases, etc.
  • Experience obtaining and documenting requirements by examining pre-existing project documentation such as process flow diagrams, use case documents, and other documentation
  • Expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements.
  • Expertise in change management and training support. Provide organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of technical and functional environments.
  • Expertise in Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of current experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

DESIRED EXPERIENCES:
 
  • Experience supporting cloud technologies
  • Previous consulting experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of associated Agile tools such as JIRA is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a government client environment is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience managing evolving customer requirements.
  • Department of Labor Entry on Duty (EOD) is required to support this program

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a customer facing Project Manager
