Cloud Solutions Architect - DHS CAMS

Sharp Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Washington, DC to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within SSI. 
 
The Cloud Solutions Architect provides leadership support to the DHS customer and SSi, focused on providing subject matter expertise to develop and architect the next generation of cybersecurity in support of DHS’ CDM Program. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Design, construct, and implement enterprise-class security technologies covering as a service offering for federal agencies
  • Build solutions to identify existing agency data within cloud environments and the security controls in place to properly monitor and protect this information
  • Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
  • Develop automated mechanisms to report on Cloud Service Provider status for items of concern such as vulnerability status, incident response interactions, forensic activities, integration of security logs into the Agency toolsets, etc.
  • Develop security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Communication and ability to train users in implementation or conversion of systems
  • Experience in developing Security Solutions in the Cloud (full Cloud and Hybrid model).
  • Experience in developing solutions for Asset management of Cloud resources Experience in working with Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASBs) such as McAfee SkyHigh, NetSkope etc.
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed cloud architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Train users in implementation or conversion of systems 
Position Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree preferred ISC2 CISSP is required Security + and/or related Cloud and Security Certifications is desired
  • Experience in cyber architecture team on projects similar to the size, scope, and complexity of enterprise level environment
  • Experience with Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • CISSP
  • Experience developing cybersecurity solutions across a diverse and heterogeneous IT environment, including the following:
    • Technical leadership in Enterprise Architecture (EA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and IT Service Delivery to multiple U.S. Government Agencies.
    • Experience in TOGAF, Federal Enterprise Architecture or similar Enterprise Architecture models.
    • Experience in NIST RMF or CDM Framework Demonstrated experience in leading of team that design security solution using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions.
    • A minimum five years of experience working with Cloud offerings and services from providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, Microsoft O365, etc.
    • Understanding of FedRAMP requirements and cloud based security controls
    • A minimum of three years of experience in security policy and emerging cybersecurity technologies. 
Security Clearance 
Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability. Secret clearance preferred
